  “Earth has one yellow sun, and is one of nine planets in our solar system. We have billions of people, and about half are female. However, that number includes the elderly and children. There are many honorable people, but there are many criminals as well. Our world remains divided. There are many different countries with different governments, and I actually work for mine.   “What do you think brother? Could they be mates for us?” Algie asked.

  “Adriana, I must ask that you refrain from using foul language.”

  “You’re kidding right? You don’t want me to say hell?” He shook his head. “That’s like…a staple word.” At his intense stare, I finally relented. “Fine, I will try but you have to realize that I have been talking like this for a long time. You can’t just stop because you decide to. It comes out and I don’t even realize I’m saying it.”

  “Thank you for trying Adriana.” I nodded. What else could I do? I didn’t have anywhere to go, and Pakhi was hot as hell. Ugh, hot as heck.   “You are most welcome Adriana. Rest up and we will talk later.” He said as his hand tenderly touched my cheek.

  After He left, I climbed into my comfy bed, but I could only think of the tall blue man with blazing amber eyes. When he touched my cheek, tingles shot through my body all the way to my core.   I wondered where Eliana was. Did something bad happen to her or did someone rescue her as well? They searched the other ship and she wasn’t there. For that matter, I had searched it as well while hiding out. I don’t know how, but we got ourselves into a hell of a mess. I missed my parents, and my two sisters. They were probably wondering what happened to us.

  “Algie, where are you?”

  “I’m in the Common Chambers.” I flashed to his location and found him having a glass of Barla the Sukaraians are so fond of. He must have a lot of his mind if he is having the dark brown drink so early.

  “What is on your mind brother?” I asked as he drained his glass and got another.

  “Cedrick informed me that he found Earth’s location, but it is through an unstable wormhole. If we went to Earth without using the wormhole, it would take us one Standard Santarian year. You know the wormhole is not an option. We would lose at least half of our ships.” I understood what he was saying. Algie desired a mate, and it would be a long trip to take.

  “It does pose a challenge Algie. We need more females, and the only ones we have found so far are Earthers. Did she say what they called themselves?”

  “I don’t think so. I think she just said she was from Earth.” He said with a frown.

  “That’s Ok. The one-standard Santarian year it would take to reach Earth would be difficult, but doable. We can stop at Osaa on the way there, and back. The new space station is finally open.” They both sat there deep in thought and drinking Barla.

  “She is beautiful brother.” Algie said with admiration.

  “Yes she is. The first time I laid eyes upon her, I felt a stirring in my loins. My cock became really hard, and that has never happened before.”

  I felt better this morning. I certainly slept better in a bed, than in the vent shaft. I showered and tried to do something with all this curly hair, but it was unruly. It had been many months since my last haircut and I was certainly in need of one. I found a pair of boots in my room, but they were too big for me. I took out one of the boot strings and tied my hair back in a ponytail. That would have to work for now. I had found one of the black jumpsuits so I put it on. After being in the same clothes for so long, I just wanted something different. I had to roll the sleeves and pants up, but that was Ok.

  My door chimed, and Pakhi walked in. “How are you Adriana? Did you sleep well?”

  “I slept very well, thank you. That bed was so comfortable it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. If I never see another damn vent I’ll be happy.” He grimaced.

  “What? I had to sleep in the vents so those crazy bastards couldn’t find me.” I didn’t know what was wrong with him, but his frown deepened.

  “Adriana, I’m sorry you had to live under those conditions, but please try and watch you language. It is not tolerated very well on Santar.” I blushed from head to toe. I didn’t even realize I’d said anything.

  “Why do you change colors? It is the oddest thing to watch, and oddly enough, I wish you would do it again.” He was looking at me and his eyes were starting to glow.

  “It’s called blushing. I do it when I’m embarrassed.” I said as I blushed again. A big smile spread across his face. I noticed his teeth for the first time. They were very white, and mostly like mine, but there was something different about them. I just couldn’t figure out what it was.

  “Would you like to have first meal with me?” He said as he held out his hand.

  “I would love to. Thank you.” I placed my hand in his and felt tingles shoot through my body again. He led me out the door and toward the Galley.

  “Algie, Adriana and I are having first meal if you would like to join us.”

  “Thank you brother, I am with Cedrick and he said he would come as well.”

  “Very well, I will see you both shortly.”

  “Why do you space out on me at times?” I had been watching him, and he looked like he was elsewhere.

  “I’m sorry, space out? What is that?” He asked with a puzzled look on his face.

  “It’s when we are talking or just enjoying each other’s company, and then you get a faraway look in your eyes. It’s like you disappear.” He looked very confused. “Not literally disappear, but mentally.”

  “Well….it’s a secret that the Santarians don’t normally share with others. Promise not to tell anyone?”

  This
time I looked at him as if he was crazy. “Pakhi, I was kidnapped from my planet, then rescued by you. Who the hell could I possibly tell your secret to, your brother?” I saw one side of his mouth tip upward as he gave me a chided look. Maybe he didn’t mind my smart mouth after all.

  “All Santarians are telepaths, but being a royal, Algie and I are more advanced than others. I was asking him if he would like join us for breakfast.” I know my jaw dropped.

  “So Algie is joining us?” I was a little disappointed.

  “Yes, he and Cedrick are most likely there by now.”

  After we made our way to the Galley, and collected our food, we found the table where Algie and Cedrick were sitting. I stabbed at my food as I realized they were talking and I wasn’t in on their conversation. After sitting in silence for a couple of minutes, I laid my spork down or whatever they would call that weird utensil I was holding. “You are all being rude as hell! If you need to speak in private, I’ll be happy to leave your rude asses here and return to my room.” I know I had a short fuse, I always had.

  “Adriana, language.”

  “I’ll watch my damn language when you quit being so rude. I’m right here.” I watched his jaw clench again. I knew he was upset but so was I!

  “I’m sorry Adriana.” What was I supposed to say to that? He was being nice and I was mad. All the fight drained out of me with his apology. After a couple of minutes, I added my own.

  I’m sorry for cussing. Please forgive me.” As I looked at Cedrick and Algie, I found they were staring at me. I really needed to watch myself.

  Pakhi

  As we made our way to the Galley, we gathered our food and found Algie and Cedrick sitting at a table. Adriana and I sat on the opposite side so we were facing the two of them.

  “Commander, an Agrarian Ship was spotted on radar. It was just sitting there as if it was waiting for something.” That was surprising news.

  “Thank you Cedrick.”

  “How are things coming along with Adriana? Has she agreed to be your mate?”

  “I haven’t mentioned it Algie. We are getting to know each other, and yes, she is my mate but I’m taking it slow. It is hard though because every time I touch her, I feel an electrical current run through my body and a stirring in my loins. She is beautiful, intelligent and ….”

  “Algie was updating me about a situation on the Bridge.”

  “Yes, I told her. She made a compelling argument.”

  “Do tell; this ought to be good.”

  “Who am I going to tell your secret to, my friends and family? Oh wait, I don’t have any here. Maybe I could tell ….hmm you all are the only ones I know, unless I am kidnapped again.” Algie laughed.

  “I think you have met your match Commander.” Cedrick said. They both kept sneaking glances at Adriana. She was beautiful and one of a kind.

  Chapter 4

  I had been on board for many days and Pakhi and I were spending a lot of time together. He was sweet, charming, and sexy as hell. We had all of our meals together, and we talked about everything.   “Nice to meet you Omar, I am Adriana.” I offered in return. “Please excuse me, I was just looking around.” I tried to leave, but his grip tightened on my shoulder.

  “Please, come and sit with me.” He turned me with his hand. I let him get by with it…for now. “Where did you come from Adriana?” He asked and for some reason, I felt uncomfortable answering him.

  “I’m from Earth.” I said without further explanation.

  “Where exactly is Earth? Are there many females there?” He asked eagerly.

  “Is Rahu without females as well?” The government had trained me well, and right now, I was answering his question with a question.

  “No why? We have plenty of females.”

  “Then why would you want to know about Earth?” I saw the anger enter his eyes. He didn’t like that at all. Oh well, I didn’t give a shit.

  “I was just wondering. I know the royal family had been trying to find Pakhi’s mate for many standard years and hadn‘t had any luck.

  “And how would you know that?” His lips tightened, and his jaw clenched. Yeah, I was making him mad.

  “My cousin works at the palace. She keeps me informed.” I saw the surprise in his eyes. He couldn’t believe he’d answered my question.

  “My apologies Adriana, I believe you said you were looking around the ship, and I am keeping you from your task.” He offered a fake smile. What a bastard.

  “It has been interesting talking with you Omar.” I offered politely. When I left, I found some sort of lift. I pushed buttons until I descended downward. As I exited, I heard the sounds of swords clanging, combined with shouts and grunts.

  I found Pakhi and another male practicing with their swords, until they switched to hand-to-hand combat. I watched as Pakhi’s muscles rippled, and sweat ran down his scorching hot body.
