“Oh honey!” My mom said as she pulled me in for a hug. I cried like a baby in my mother’s arms.
“Eliana is really ok, really happy?” Janice asked.
“Yes Janice, she’s really happy. Her only wish was that you know she was Ok.” I looked at everyone. I had to tell them the final news and hoped they understood. “Nobody can know that I’m back. I will not have my baby in danger.” At everyone’s confused look I said, “Pakhi is blue, and my baby may be as well.” They all gasp. “And I know that Pakhi is on his way here.” I said slowly as I looked at everyone.
Pakhi
We were on our way to Earth. It seemed like a lifetime ago since I held Adriana in my arms. The only thing that kept me sane was that I could feel her faintly. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to know that she was alive. I was getting to know Tolan and Dar very well, and even though they had sex with anything that walked, they were honorable males. Cedrick was excited. I could tell he hoped to find his mate on Earth. There was nothing more I could do but wait.
I entered the Common Chambers and found them sitting around the table drinking. I grabbed me a glass and joined them. They were all discussing Earth, and what they thought it would be like. I let my mind wonder as well. I would get to meet her family, and found that I was happy about that. I couldn’t wait to see my mate, to hold her in my arms.
Adriana
Chapter 16
Four months later
“Push Adriana!” I had been in labor for twelve hours, and I was exhausted. Kenzie and Jaylynn were here, along with my parents and Eliana’s. They had all been so supportive. I gave one last push and out came my baby. “Good job sis! It’s a girl!” She handed my baby to me.
She was blue with amber eyes. She had dark curly hair like mine, but she looked just like her dad. I started crying. I missed him so much, and I wanted him here to witness his baby being born. I hugged her tightly. My mom walked over “Can I see her?” I lowered her down so she was laying on my lap. Mom stared at her, just looking her over. “She is beautiful Adriana, but I now see why you couldn’t go to a hospital. I know you told me, but I didn’t realize until now.”
“She looks like her dad.” I smiled as I held my daughter.
“What will you name her?” I had thought about this for the last four months. I thought of more boy names though as I thought that’s what I’d have.
“I’m going to name her Maile, after Pakhi’s grandmother.” I smiled at my baby then kissed her forehead. “Pakhi, I wish you were here. I miss you.”
A month had passed since Maile’s birth. I couldn’t believe how big she was. She was sitting up and trying to talk. I would hear her say “momma” occasionally, as she would jabber and smile at me. I couldn’t help but laugh at her.
When she turned two months old, she was already walking, and talking. I couldn’t believe how fast she was growing. Mom stopped by every day to play with her. Sometimes, Janice would come as well. I know she was wondering about Destiny.
I was sitting with mom when I heard the sweetest words in the whole world, besides my daughters of course. “Adriana, can you hear me?” I just started to cry. My mom was instantly there wrapping her arms around me. She wanted to know what was wrong, but I just waved her away.
“I can hear you! Where are you? Oh God Pakhi, I’ve missed you!” I could feel his instant relief.
“We’re close, we are in orbit above your planet, but I don’t know how to find you. Eliana showed us roughly where you are, but I don’t know how to get to you.” I didn’t know how to help him. I looked at my little girl when she said “Dada.”
Pakhi
I could feel Adriana’s extreme happiness, but didn’t know what was going on. I tried again, “Adriana?” However, she didn’t answer. If she had been Santarian, she would be able to hear me by now. All I could do was wait.
Time passed and we were finally circling her planet. It was blue just as Eliana had said. I could even make out the area where Adriana’s family lived, but it was still too big of an area. Tolan, Dar, and Cedrick were looking down in awl. “No wonder Eliana chose blue as her color.” Tolan said.
I didn’t know how to find her as they didn’t know other life existed. “Adriana, can you hear me?” I tried again. I had been trying to reach her several times a standard day.
“I can hear you! Where are you? Oh God Pakhi, I’ve missed you!” I closed my eyes as relief filled me. After all these months, I had found her, kind of.
“We’re close, we are in orbit around your planet, but I don’t know how to find you. Eliana showed us roughly where you are, but I don’t know how to get to you.” I was pacing. I needed a way to find where she was staying. Cedrick was sitting at the table while Tolan and Dar were standing near the wall.
“Can you feel me, and flash to my location?” She asked. I really didn’t want to tell her no, but it was the truth.
“No, since I have never been there, and you don’t have a homing device.” I said with sadness.
“Wait, didn’t you tell me that blood called to blood and family members could find each other?” She asked with such excitement.
“We can, but sweetheart, you are not Santarian.”
“Pakhi, you have a beautiful baby girl. Can you find her and come to us?” I closed my eyes. Young, I have young. I focused on her and I knew exactly how to find them.
I turned to the others in the room, “I know where she is.” I said with a smile. “Cedrick, you transport Dar, and I’ll take Tolan. Follow me.” I flashed with Tolan’s hand on my shoulder.
Adriana was standing before me. I walked up and gave her a long passionate kiss and the hugged her as tight as I could. I was never letting her out of my sight again. I looked at the young in her arms and saw my beautiful little female. She stared at me as our minds locked; as this is how we protect them while their small. Now I would always be able to find her. “She is beautiful, can I hold her?” I asked as I was watching her.
“Of course, she’s yours after all.” Adriana handed her to me. She reached up and touched my cheek. Cedrick had walked over to us and I saw the amazed look on his face.
“Unbelievable! You have young and it’s female.” He said in awl.
“Her name is Maile.” She told us both.
“You named her after my grandmother?” I asked, but he hadn’t taken his eyes off his daughter.
“Momma!” She reached for Adriana, and I wanted to kill all the Rahu, and Agrarians for causing me to miss so much. As I glanced up, I saw an older female standing at the edge of the room. Adriana noticed, and waved the older female forward.
“Mom, this is my husband Pakhi. Pakhi, this is my mother Alisha.”
“It’s nice to meet you Pakhi.” The older female stuck her hand out.
“They don’t shake mom.” She put her hand back. There was a knock on the door and then a lot of people came rushing in. There were so many in such a small dwelling. Adriana took my hand. “This is my husband Pakhi, Pakhi this is my dad Michael, and my sister Kenzie. This is my other sister Jaylynn.” She turned “and this is Eliana’s parents Janice and James.” I looked at everyone and noticed they were all very different.
“It’s very nice to meet everyone.” However, I noticed they didn’t understand anything I was saying.
“Janice, this is Tolan. He is Eliana’s brother in law.” Janice gave him a big hug.
After visiting for a little while, everyone left. Cedrick took Tolan and Dar back to the ship, and Maile was down for the night. I put my hand on her cheek and gave her a hard passionate kiss. I had to have her right now. All the fear and loss I’d felt these past months came out full force as I ripped the clothes off her body. I carried her to the little room, spread her legs, and pushed in as hard as I could. She was ready for me. I pounded into her at a pace so fast, she couldn’t even react. I came hard as I heard her scream my name, then I bit into her neck again. I needed to strengthen our bond.
We lay together in her tiny bed.
No wonder you thought my bed was big. This is the tiniest thing I have ever seen.” I laughed when she play hit me. “I missed you. I thought I’d die before I made it here to you. Our daughter is beautiful by the way. Do you realize she is the first female born in many standard years?”
“I missed you Pakhi. I tried reaching out to you every day. I enjoyed being around my family, but from the moment I landed here, I wanted to be on Santar. I love you.”
“I love you to.”
Epilogue
Eight Standard Months Later
We made our way back to Santar. Kenzie, Jaylynn and both sets of parents came with us. Elaina’s parents wanted to see her, and their granddaughter. Adriana’s parents decided that if all three of their daughters were going, then they were as well. Cedrick spent a lot of time with Jaylynn, while Tolan flirted with Kenzie the whole way.
Back on Santar, Alessandra and Jahiem embraced Adriana and their granddaughter. This was the beginning of a new era for the Santarian race, for Maile was the first female born in many Standard Santar Years.
The End!
