  “I let Cedrick know to have everyone there. Let’s go.” They made their way to the Galley as Pakhi told Algie about Adriana’s parents and sisters coming with them. Even Eliana’s parents came.

  “Mother and Father are in for a big surprise.” He said, grinning. As they entered the Galley, Algie felt like his heart stopped beating, and then resumed at a thunderous pace. A beautiful female sat by Cedrick. Algie felt his cock stir, the sign he had found his mate. Smiling, she looked up and their eyes met.   Pakhi explained that they had reached the Chandra, and the Santarians would be departing. All that wanted to leave with them needed to pack their bags. Everyone decided to go except for Eliana’s parents, and Kenzie. With tear-filled eyes, Adriana hugged her sister. “Tell Eliana to take care of you for me, and if you get tired of living there, have Zahin contact us and we will come and get you.”

  With Adriana and her family on board the Chandra, it only left Tolan, Dar, Kenzie and Eliana’s parents. They would be arriving home that day, and everyone was excited. Tolan sat at the controls, Kenzie watched with admiration, as he was very confident in his actions. Cedrick sat beside him as we watched the planet come into view on the main screen. The blue and yellow planet that she would now call home kept getting larger. “This is Sukara?” Kenzie asked, her eyes glued to the screen.

  “Yes. This is home and I am so glad to be back.” Tolan answered, he’s hands still working the controls.

  “Home never looked as good as it does right now. I think this is the longest I have ever been away.” Dar said, also staring at the view screen. James and Janice never said anything.

  After landing, the King and Queen, along with Zahin, Eliana and Destiny met them as they disembarked. When Eliana spotted Janice and James, she started screaming for them. She took off running and when Janice spotted her, she met her halfway, and they embraced in a tear-filled hug. “What are you doing here?” She finally asked after hugging both of them.

  “There was no way we would stay on Earth when our only daughter was here with our only grandchild.” Janice said, laughing and crying.

  “Come on. I want you to meet my husband and your granddaughter.” Eliana said, taking her mother by the hand. “Mom, this is my husband Zahin. Zahin, this is my mom and dad.”

  Janice pulled Zahin in for a big hug. “Thank you for taking care of my daughter.” She said, smiling. Then she spotted the most stunning child in and older womans arms. “Is this her?” She whispered in awl as Eliana took the girl into her arms.

  “Mom, this is my daughter Destiny. Destiny say hello to your Grandmother.”

  “Hi Grandmother,” The little girl said.

  Janice turned questioning eyes to Eliana, and with her nod, she took Destiny into her arms. “Look James, look at our beautiful Granddaughter.” She said, crying tears of joy.

  Queen Saia stepped forward to hug Tolan. “You’ve been gone along time son.” She said, relief in her voice that he was back.

  “I know mother, It’s been a long time and I am glad to be home. You and father are looking well.” Tolan said, hugging his mother. When he stepped back, he noticed the instant she noticed Kenzie.

  When they had first met Eliana, things did not go well, and it took a long time for Eliana to forgive them. “Mother, I would like for you to meet Kenzie. She is the sister of Prince Pakhi’s Mate, and Eliana’s friend.” Tolan watched his mother’s expression and it surprised him to find…acceptance.

  “Hello Kenzie. Welcome to Sukara.” Queen Saia stepped forward to hug the new female. She didn’t know if anything had happened between Kenzie and her son, but she would not make the same mistake twice.

  “Thank you. It’s a pleasure to meet you your majesty.” Queen Saia took in the appearance of this new female. She had dark hair, alabaster skin, and stunning blue green eyes. She could easily see how any male would want her.

  “Kenzie this is my father, King Yayin.” Her eyes darted to him, and he looked regal standing there. He had short hair, and the body of a well-toned military man. He exuded power, and it left no doubt about who was in charge.

  “Nice to meet you your majesty.” Kenzie tilted her head down slightly to acknowledge his royal status. She noticed his eyes darted to Tolan and then back to her.

  “It’s nice to meet you Kenzie. I hope you had a good trip?” He said, studying her.

  “I did, thank you.” Tolan watched the exchange, and it seemed cordial enough. He knew his parents did not want to start out on the wrong foot as they did with Eliana.

  “Kenzie? Oh my God Kenzie! What are you doing here?” Eliana said as she grabbed and hugged her, barely able to contain her excitement.

  “I came with everyone else. Mom, dad, and Jaylynn went to Santar with Adriana.” Kenzie said, laughing.

  “And you came here?” Eliana asked, puzzled.

  “Well, Tolan told me I could train with your healer so yes, I came here.” She diverted her eyes. She didn’t want her to know that she came to be with Tolan.

  “Uh-huh.” She said with a suspicious look.

  “Kenzie, are you ready to go?” Tolan asked, needing to get away from all the stares. He knew his parents wondered if he and Kenzie were together, if she would be his Ardhangini, and now he could see Eliana wondering as well.

  “Yes. Eliana, I hope I will see you later.” Kenzie took Tolan’s hand as he led her to the Palace. It was hard to stand there and feel like you’re being scrutinized.

  “Sorry about that.” He said, leading her from the landing bay to the Palace when she came to a complete stop. When he looked back at her, he could see the wonder on her face.

  “Yes, except I have seen other worlds, just none like yours.” Still holding her hand, he pulled her slightly forward so she began walking again. He led her to the guest quarters where she would be staying. He wanted her with him, but he still wasn’t ready to commit to one female. He was home now, and they would be abundant here at the palace.

  After showing her around, he pulled her close to him. “I haven’t seen you as much as I would have liked.” He whispered in her ear as his hands reached down to cup her ass.

  “Follow me.” He led her down several corridors before stopping in front of French doors. As he knocked, another man answered. “She wishes to see Eliana.” The man sounded, formal.

  “Who is it Justyn?” Eliana asked, walking up behind him.

  “It’s your Earth friend.”

  “Kenzie, What’s wrong? Move out of the way Justyn.” Eliana gave him a push, and he moved.

  Eliana ushered her in and they seated themselves on a couch. “Kenzie, what’s wrong?”

  “Nothing really. I think I’ve just realized that I’m not on Earth anymore.” Kenzie laughed nervously.

  “Of course, I understand. Would you like a glass of Barla? That might calm your nerves some.” Eliana said, reaching for a glass.

  “No!” Elaina startled. “I mean no thank you.” Kenzie said in a more normal voice. “I just wanted to visit with you. Tolan said something about working with Cadas, and having someone here that knew about human anatomy would be a good thing.”

  “Ah, I wondered why you chose to come here instead of heading to Santar with the rest of your family. Shew, I have to tell you Kenzie, I’m relieved you’re here for that reason. I worried you and Tolan would be together.” Eliana said, smiling. Kenzie felt panic for the second time today, but made sure it did not show on her face.

  “Would being with Tolan be a bad thing?” She asked reluctantly.

  “Well, I don’t know. I’m very happy with Zahin. You spent a lot of time with Tolan and Dar while you were on the ship. So they must have told you about the Sukara culture.” She asked, expectantly.

  Kenzie just nodded. There was no way in hell she would tell Eliana she didn’t have a clue what she was talking about. She knew both Dar and Tolan didn’t tell her everything. She didn’t know how, she just did. She needed to change the subject. “Could someone show me where Cadas is? I would like to get started so I can feel useful.” Kenzie asked. She thought she needed to talk to Eliana, but now she felt the need to be away from her.

  “Absolutely, if that’s what you would like. Justyn, can you escort her down to Cadas’s medical lab?” Justyn, already shaking his head no, said he would call Dar. “Sorry Kenzie, he takes his job seriously, and that is to see to my protection.” Eliana sighed.

  “I understand. Is it that dangerous here?” She asked, suddenly worried about her baby.

  “No, not normally. It’s just that Zahin is next in line to lead, and many of the females were not happy when he brought me home. Now they are after Tolan since he’s second in line.” Eliana said, unware of the affect it had on Kenzie.

  Her heart felt like it would beat out of her chest, and not in a good way. She felt thankful to be sitting down. Maybe Eliana wouldn’t notice her legs shaking. She needed to leave now! “Just tell me how to get there, and I’m sure I will be fine.” She was proud her voice didn’t crack.

  She heard a knock on the door, and as Justyn answered it, she was glad to see Dar standing there. “Dar is here to escort you to medical.” Justyn said, Kenzie hopped up and headed to the door.

  Before leaving, she turned “Thanks Eliana, for everything.” Kenzie waved as she left leaving Dar to follow her.

  “Don’t you need me to show you the way?” Dar said while following along behind her.

  Kenzie took a few more steps before stopping. While looking down at her feet she whispered, “Yes I do. Thank you.” She never once looked at him.

  He knew something was wrong, but he didn’t know what had happened. “Follow me and I’ll show you the way.” She nodded, but still never look his way. “Are you alright Kenzie?” He asked.

  “Yes.” Kenzie spoke low. She knew he worried about her, but if she talked to him now, she would break down and cry. Maybe it’s just because she found out she was pregnant, but she knew that Eliana’s relief at her not dating Tolan contributed to her foul mood. They walked in silence the rest of the way.

  When they reached the door to medical, Dar turned to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. “Kenzie, look at me please.” He waited until she looked up. The pain he saw in her eyes stunned him. He didn’t know what had happened, but he knew if she ever asked for help, he would be there. “If you ever need me for anything, all you need to do is ask. Ok?” She stared at him and then finally nodded.

  They entered medical only to find Cadas bent over a lab table, probably working on another experiment. “Cadas, I’ve brought someone to meet you.” Dar said as he turned to them. When he spotted Kenzie, his eyes lit up and a smile filled his face.

  “Ah, I see I have another Earth female to scan. I’m still documenting Eliana’s anatomy.”

  “No, I’m here to help you. I worked in the medical field back home, and I was hoping to be your assistant.” Kenzie said, hoping she didn’t sound to forceful.

  “Really? That’s great. I could use some help.” He said with enthusiasm.

  “I’ll be back for you later Kenzie. Have fun.” He grinned as he left. Cadas didn’t waste any time showing her the different pieces of equipment while explaining how they worked. Kenzie felt like she finally belonged somewhere. She listened closely to everything he told her. It didn’t take long until she could use the most common instruments. The hand-held medi scan seemed to be the most common of all.

  As people came in, mostly from
training accidents, he let her do most of the work. She got many stares from the males, and some leered, which made her feel a little uncomfortable.

  “Kenzie, can you see what Ginni needs while I finish up with Camon?” Cadas asked, making her feel good that he now trusted her some.

  Kenzie walked into the examination room, and there stood the first Sukaraian female she had seen. She stood about six feet tall, had dark skin, black shoulder length hair, and black solid eyes. She had a thin muscular body, and was stunning to look at. “My name is Kenzie, and I’m helping Cadas today. What are you here to be seen for?” Kenzie waited, but the female…Ginni said nothing. The silence felt uncomfortable until finally she spoke.

  “So you are the female that thinks she can have Tolan.” Ginni said venomously. Kenzie just stood there with nothing to say. “Just because Eliana had Zahin marked, don’t think you can do the same to Tolan.” Kenzie had no idea what she was even talking about. “He’s mine. I will be his Ardhangini, so stay away from him. Consider this a warning.” Ginni walked out while Kenzie still stood there speechless.

  “What did she need?” Cadas asked as he came into the room.

  Kenzie finally pulled herself together enough to answer him. “I don’t know, she didn’t tell me.”

  “Well, it must not have been that important.” Cadas went back to work. Kenzie enjoyed his company as he taught her a great deal. They had worked many more hours together, and as they finished putting everything away, he said, “Kenzie, I have a couple of things to do in my office. I want be too long, so if you would like to wait, I’ll walk you to third meal.”

  “Sounds good Cadas, I’m starving!” She enjoyed herself so much; she forgot that she was pregnant. Now that she remembered, she knew she needed to eat. As she waited for him, another female came walking in. “May I help you?” Kenzie asked. The female just stared at her. Well shit! I guess another one has come to tell me to stay away from the man she loved.
