Pakhi's Mate: More Worlds Beyond Read online

“Algie, Cedrick. I want ever stall, every eating establishment searched. Call all the guard for assistance. I need her found, NOW!” I found where one side of the stall had an opening in it. They must have cut through the cloth so they wouldn’t be seen. I headed that direction first. They couldn’t have gotten too far.

  Adriana

I woke up with my hands bound behind my back. My head was still groggy, but the drug was wearing off. I was in a rundown building that didn’t even have a floor in it. I checked my surroundings and found the only way out was through the door. There were no windows. The good news, they used some type of old rope to bound my hands, and they did a bad job. It didn’t take me long to get it off.

I checked the door, and of course, it wouldn’t open. “Pakhi” I waited, but didn’t get a response. “Pakhi, can you hear me?” Still nothing and I couldn’t feel him either. I started to panic, but then took a deep breath to calm myself down.

It seemed like several hours until I heard someone coming. I sat back down and resumed the position I woke up in so he wouldn’t know I had untied my hands. The door opened, and another yellow damn male walked in.

“I see you’re awake.” Of course, I was awake. I’d been awake for hours. “Where are you from?” I didn’t say anything. It was none of his damn business. Yes, I was mad. “Do you not speak?” I just looked at him. I knew my silence was making him angry. Good! “Fine, you might not talk to me, but when we take you to Rahu, you’ll talk. Let’s go.” He reached down to yank me up. Big mistake!

When he reached down, I grabbed his arm and yanked as I rolled to the side. He lost his balance and fell face first on the ground. I got to my knees, and then placed one in the center of his back, grabbed his hair, and pulled his head back. “Why did you take me?” I asked as I leaned in so all my weight was on his back. He didn’t answer, so I yanked his hair even more and stretched his neck. “I asked you a question.”

“Because you’re Pakhi’s mate! We are tired of being under their rule. Without you, they would die out as a species.”

“Thanks.” I hit him as hard as I could in the side of the head and knocked his ass out. I retrieved the rope he used on me and bound his hands. My knots were much stronger than his were. The building I was in was empty, so I headed out. I didn’t know where to go, but I wouldn’t going to stay here.

I had been walking for what seemed like hours. I still couldn’t reach Pakhi with my mind, but I kept trying. The weather was warm and dry, it looked like a desert, and I was thirsty. Straight ahead, I saw a small hill, and I hoped that I would see someone soon. So far, I hadn’t seen any signs of life since I left the shack with the Rahu in it.

I was thinking about Pakhi when I rounded the small hill and spotted a house. I just hoped that whoever lived there was blue and not yellow. I made my way, being careful and watching for people when someone came to the door. He was Blue! Thank God! “Hi there,” I said with a smile and a little wave. I wanted him to know I was friendly.

“May I help you?” He asked hesitantly. Of course, he was hesitant; I was an alien to him. I laughed to myself.

“I would appreciate it if I could have something to drink, and maybe directions to the palace.”

“The palace! Why would you want to go there?” He asked with curiosity. I was a little afraid to tell anyone I was Pakhi’s mate. What if they were sided with the Rahu.

“Do you know who lives there?”

“Well yes, I do. King Jahiem and Queen Alessandra lives there with their two sons.”

“Do you think they are good people, good rulers?”

“Yes I do. Again, why do you ask?” It seems like he’s one of the good guys, but just because he’s blue didn’t mean I would automatically trust him.

“I’m Pakhi’s mate. We were at the market when the Rahu kidnapped me. I escaped, but I have been unable to contact Pakhi.” He immediately ushered me inside.

“You’re his mate? Of course you are. That’s the only reason the Rahu would have taken you. I’ve known for a while they were unhappy serving us, our planet. As for not being able to contact him, there is a drug they can give you that will block telepathy for about eight to twelve standard hours.” He handed me something to drink. I sat down to rest while I took a sip. Barla, that must be all they drink here. I’ve had a few other things, but not many.

“I need to move on after I rest for a few minutes. This will be one of the first places they look for me as this is the first house I’ve came to.”

“You cannot leave! What kind of Santarian would I be if I let Prince Pakhi’s mate head out on her own?” He was sweet, but I would not endanger him. “Pakhi?”

“ADRIANA! WHERE ARE YOU?” I felt relief just hearing his panicked voice.

  Pakhi

We searched everywhere, but she was gone. I called out to her again, and again, but she never answered. We searched the entire market three times and interviewed everyone here. Adriana was gone and we had no idea how, but I knew it was the Rahu. I had felt too many hostile feelings for it to be anyone else.

“She is not here brother. We have searched everywhere and she’s not here.” I could hear the sadness in Algie’s voice. I was having a hard time leaving the marketplace. I felt like if I left, then she would be gone forever. “Let’s go Pakhi.” Algie said as he placed his hand on my shoulder. I nodded and we flashed to the palace.

Back in my rooms, I paced as Algie handed me a glass of Barla. With drink in hand, I wore a path in my living chambers. Mother and father joined us. I was having a hard time. She had only been here two standard days, and I couldn’t protect her. “Son, we will find her.” I know mother was trying to make me feel better, but right now, I didn’t want to hear it. I downed one glass and got another. We rarely had more than one, but right now, I needed it.

“I want all the Rahu that works here gathered. If I feel any hostile feeling for Adriana, I want them removed from the palace. I will get her back, and I will not have them around her when I do.” I said to everyone.

“I agree. I will call a meeting.” Father said as he left.

“Adriana? Adriana please answer me. I can’t live without you.” I waited, but she was not there. I took my third glass, I didn’t care that Algie and mother were very worried. I could feel it, but it didn’t matter.

“They are gathered Pakhi. Would you like to join us?”

“I’ll be right there.” I sat my glass down and headed out the door.

Down in the main hall of the palace, father had the Rahu gathered. He lined them up in rows as I paced back and forth. I finally stopped in front of them. “As you all know, I now have a mate.” I stepped in front of the first one. As I continued to talk, I stepped in front of each and every one of them. “Father, this one needs to go.” “I’m very glad I found her, and hopefully when we visit her planet, many more of us will find mates.” I kept talking as I made notes to dismiss at least half of the staff. At least I wouldn‘t have to worry about this anymore.

Back in my rooms, I got another glass of Barla. I knew that everyone was still looking for Adriana, but I was here….pacing. “Brother, you should slow down on the Barla.” I pinned him with a look, as I have never felt like this.

“Algie, I have lost my mate. If I want to drink, then I damn well will!” Algie looked alarmed, but I didn’t care. After about my fifth glass, I heard the sweetest words ever “Pakhi?”

“ADRIANA! WHERE ARE YOU?” I couldn’t believe I was now talking to her.

“I don’t know. I escaped the Rahu, and walked to some male’s house.”

“Love, I can’t come to you without knowing where you are! Ask him his name!” I waited a few moments with my heart pounding. I had to find her!

“He said his name is Zayd and he lives north of the marketplace.”

“I’m on my way, Stay there and I’ll find you! I love you.”

“Algie, she is at Zayd’s house. Do you know him?”

  “I do not.”

&n
bsp; “He lives north of the marketplace, let’s start there.” We flashed to the marketplace and started walking. There were very few places to search, but it was still slow going. After several standard hours of searching, a small house came into view. As we were walking, the door swung open and Adriana came running out toward me. I took off running and met her with an embrace so tight I lifted her off the ground. I gave her a hard passionate kiss before I noticed the male standing on the porch.

“You must be Zayd.” He nodded, as I looked him over. He was a male of meager means. “You will be rewarded greatly for helping her. What would you like?” I could tell Zayd was really giving it some thought.

“I would like a mate of my own, but I know you cannot give me that.” He had sadness in his voice as he watched us.

“My mate is from a planet called Earth. We will be sending a ship soon so others can hopefully find theirs. It is a long trip, but you can be on the first one. I will also make sure you’re rewarded with credits as well.”

“Thank you!” He was a happy male.

I arrived back at the palace with Adriana still in my arms. I was kissing her madly as my hands were roaming up and down her body until I found the hem of her shirt and ripped it off. I kissed down her neck as I picked her up and carried her to the couch. As I laid her down, I took her left breast in my mouth while I caressed the other one. I barely noticed when Algie came back. He watched for a moment, and then left the room.

“Adriana, I can’t wait!” I undressed as fast of possible and then yanked her pants off. I lowered myself between her legs and thrust in as hard as I could. She wrapped her legs around my waist as I kept pounding into her. I felt her tighten around me just as I yelled my release. I gathered her into my arms and just held her close.

“What happened at the market?” I had finally calmed down enough to ask her.

“I was trying on my earrings, when someone put a cloth over my mouth. I was instantly out. I woke up in a shack with my hands bound. I tried calling to you, but you never answered. Anyway, I easily got my hands loose, and waited for someone to come. When he did, I knocked him out and tied him up. I took off walking, and well, you know the rest.”

“Do you think you can show us where you were?”

  “I can try.”

We made our way back to Zayd’s place. From there Adriana would point in the direction we needed to go. It wasn’t long until we found the structure.

With all the small burst of flashing, my head was swimming. It’s a great ability to have, and it took a lot of getting used to, but it didn’t take near as long to find the shack. “There it is.” I pointed to the only shack within eyesight.

It was empty, the rope was lying on the ground. As we looked around, there were no signs of anyone. It was just an abandoned shack that hadn’t been used in a really long time.

Back at the palace, Jahiem and Alessandra were waiting on us in our rooms. When she saw us, she embraced me in a huge heart felt hug. “I was so worried about you! I didn’t know you were back until Algie told us.” She gave Pakhi a stern disapproving look.

“Sorry mother.” He said with no remorse. He came to us and collected me from her arms. I could feel all his angst now that the drug had worn off.

Everything was going great. I had been here for a standard month, and there hadn’t been anymore incidences. I still got looks, stares, and sometimes a scowl from the Rahu, but that had been it. Pakhi made sure I was never alone, so I spent a great deal of time with his family. His mother was wonderful, but I still missed my own.

“Adriana, I just received word that Eliana had her young. They have invited us to visit if you would like to go.” Pakhi knew I would never pass up an opportunity to see Eliana. She had told me she would let me know when she had her baby, and I couldn’t wait to see him.

“That’s a stupid question; Of course I want to go! Can we flash from here?”

“No love, sorry, it is too far. We will have to take the Chandra, and when we are close enough we can flash there.”

“What about them knowing your secret?” I knew he didn’t want other species to know about the telepathy, or flashing.

“Zahin already knows some of it, and I think if we are going to visit often, we have to trust them.”

“Ok, when can we leave?” Pakhi laughed at me. I’m sure everyone could feel and hear how excited I was.

We had been on board the Chandra for three standard days, when we were finally close enough to flash. I couldn’t wait to see Eliana!

“Are you ready?” Pakhi asked as he took my hand.

“Oh yes! I can’t wait to see her or her baby!” We disappeared.

We appeared in a living area and saw two males having sex with a Sukararian female. One was in front with his cock in her pussy, while the other was in back fucking her ass! Oh God! I found it hard to look away, but Pakhi took my hand and we left the room.

“Sorry about that Adriana, I should have asked Zahin for a specific location. That happens sometimes, well quite often really. It seems like every time I visit them, someone is having sex.” He laughed. I looked at him with a startled expression. The man, I mean male that doesn’t like me to cuss, or wear revealing clothes, is laughing about seeing two males having sex with a female. Who was he, and what has he done with Pakhi? I thought as I laughed with him.

“Eliana!” I said as I let go of his hand and ran to her. She was sitting in a chair holding her baby. I leaned down and hugged her tightly, then stepped back to look at her baby.

“It’s a girl. Zahin says the first one is always male, but I have a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Destiny. Want to hold her?”

“Of course I want to hold her. How old is she?” As I took Destiny, she stared up at me. She was so adorable with her dark skin, and solid light blue eyes. Her light brown hair was down to her shoulders. She looked like she was about four months old. Her name was certainly fitting.

“She’s two weeks old. They call it fourteen moon cycles here, but two weeks by our standards.”

“But she’s so big! She looks like she’s around four months!” I said with stunned disbelief.

“I know. It’s been a big surprise for me as well. My little girl will be grown when she’s around ten years old. It’s still hard for me to do the time conversion.”

“I know. Santarian time is a little better. It’s close to ours, but not exact. They use Standard Santar, so if it’s one month for me, it’s one standard month for them.”

“That sounds much easier than moon cycles.” Pakhi and Zahin interrupted, they let us know they were leaving to give us some privacy. That was very considerate of them.

“How have you been Eliana? Really been?” I asked as I stroked Destiny’s hair. She had fallen asleep.

“It has certainly been an adjustment, but I am happy. I’ve made up with Zahin’s parents, but I still miss my own. I wish mom could see Destiny.” She said with sadness in her voice.

“When we came, I saw two males having sex with a female. Do you see that a lot? Pakhi said it was quite common.” Eliana laughed.

“That was Tolan and Dar, and yes I do. They are different from us, and I had a hard time with it at first. Try having sex, then looking up only to find that someone is watching you.” I’m not sure I could have handled it.

“Zahin doesn’t mind you seeing other males have sex, seeing them naked?” She blushed.

“No, he doesn’t.” I could tell she wanted to tell me something but was holding back.

“Tell me Eliana.” I smiled at her. We use to tell each other everything.

“I would kill Zahin if I caught him with another female, but he doesn’t mind, and actually likes it when Dar or Tolan joins us in the bedroom.” Her face was red.

“Oh my God Elaina! You have sex with two males at one time?” I was stunned.

“Yes, she does. You should try it sometime.” I looked to the doorway, and saw a male standing ther
e. He came in and kissed Destiny on the cheek.

“Adriana, this is Dar. Dar, this is my friend Adriana.” I was still stunned. I guess I just couldn’t believe that Eliana would be like this.

“It’s nice to meet you Dar.” He nodded.

“I’m hungry, would you like to get something to eat? I can have Zahin watch Destiny.” Eliana asked me. I wasn’t, in fact, I had been more nauseous than hungry lately.

“I’ll watch her.” Dar held out his arms, and I placed her in them. He looked so sweet as he snuggled Destiny in his arms. He looked like a doting uncle.

“I’m not, but I will go with you.”

I visited with Eliana for a while longer, until Pakhi said it was time to go. It made me feel much better to see her and her baby. It felt like I had a part of home with me. We made our way back to the Chandra, and into Pakhi’s sleeping chambers.

“Did you enjoy your visit?” He asked me while slowly taking my shirt off.

“I did, thank you.” I started removing his shirt as well. He leaned down, kissed my ear, and then trailed the kisses down my neck. He then bent me backward as he took one nipple in his mouth. My hands were caressing his arms and shoulders, and then moved slowly down his backside, and groped his perfectly sculptured butt. He picked me up and carried me to the bed.

He gently laid me down as his mouth moved to my other nipple. After giving it the same attention, he kissed up to my lips as he slowly entered me. We made sweet love for the next standard hour before falling asleep.

  Chapter 14

I was asleep when the alarms started blaring. I jumped out of bed as Adriana asked what was wrong. “I don’t know, just stay here.” I quickly dressed and made my way to the Bridge. Algie and Cedrick were already there. “What’s happening?”

“There is an Agrarian ship, and It’s firing at us.” Algie answered as he continued to monitor the screen in front of him. About that time, another ship came into view, and it fired as well.
